Vegecat is a supplement that enables you to safely feed your cat a nutritionally complete vegan diet. Each container comes with simple recipes which, when used with Vegecat, are formulated to meet all the nutritional requirements for adult cats. (For kittens, see Vegekit below.) Vegecat recipes may include ingredients such as lentils, garbanzos, tofu, TVP, & yeast (we highly recommend VegeYeast as it is the healthiest for cats).

Vegecat pH, used exactly as Vegecat, is designed for cats with a history of urinary tract difficulties. Because these problems are so common in cats, and because a vegan diet provides an extra challenge for cats prone to this kind of problem, we highly recommend Vegecat pH for all vegan cats, especially males (please see our FAQ for more details about how to avoid urinary tract problems in cats). Vegekit is the only vegan food that is specifically designed to support growth, and is therefore recommended for kittens up until they are about a year of age. Vegecat Kibble Mix

If you want to make kibble for your cats, this is the most convenient way (other Vegecat products can be used to make both kibble and wet food). Just add wheat flour, oil, and either tomato paste or squash, and bake in the oven. A little bit labor-intensive when compared to the non-kibble Vegecat recipes, but makes a great and very healthful food. VegeYeast is already in the mix, so additional yeast is not necessary.

VegeYeast

Formulated especially for companion animals, VegeYeast is almost 100 times more acid than other yeasts, and 35% lower in magnesium. This makes it superior for maintaining a healthy urinary tract.
VegeYeast supplies essential B vitamins, as well as high quality protein. Used in all Vegepet recipes (except Kibble Mix) or may be sprinkled on prepared foods as a flavor enhancer.
